Dispatcher – Great American Delivery Services

We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Dispatcher to support our fast‑paced operations and ensure smooth communication between drivers, clients, and our internal team. This role is critical to maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and exceptional service in the “On Demand” delivery environment.

• Coordinate and dispatch deliveries across Chicago and nationwide
• Communicate with drivers and customers throughout the day
• Monitor delivery progress and resolve issues quickly
• Maintain accurate logs, notes, and system updates
• Support operational compliance and time‑sensitive shipments
• Make informed decisions under pressure and tight deadlines
• Collaborate with the operations team to maximize efficiency and revenue

• Knowledge of the On Demand delivery industry
• Knowledge of the transportation industry
• Must be prompt, reliable, and consistent in all areas
• Strong capacity to multi‑task in a fast‑moving environment
• Skilled in decision‑making and prioritizing tasks
• Extremely proficient with computers and dispatching systems
• Must understand the geographics of Chicago and general U.S. geography
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to:
• Speak clearly on various topics
• Interact professionally with a wide range of personalities
• Ability to work under pressure with strict time restraints
