Through acquisition, the company expanded into liquids products, unit dose packaging for dish, laundry, and other home care products, including detergents, fabric softeners and other cleaners. Throughout the years, the company has built robust quality systems, multiple GMP certifications, and in-house FDA/EPA microbiology, quality control, chemistry, and R&D labs.

Background:

The Quality Incoming Inspector works in manufacturing environments where the incoming materials are inspected when received. The Incoming Inspector reports to the Quality Control Supervisor. The location of incoming inspections can be in both Mount Prospect and Glenview warehouse.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting purchased parts and materials, identifying defects, approving, or rejecting items, testing material composition, checking if products conform to standards, and reporting to Quality management.
  • This position oversees daily incoming materials to ensure materials conform to product specifications.
  • Performs incoming material audits, to assure all products and materials meet or exceed internal and external customer specifications.
  • Validates the quality of purchased raw materials based on set acceptance criteria.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in incoming material inspection.
  • Knowledge of GMP, ISO and related guidance documents.
  • Strong communication skills required. Works with all levels of employees.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Computer Skills - ERP Program, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Adobe Acrobat.
Shift: 6am-2pm
