We are a manufacturer of high-performance electrical equipment used in industrial, commercial, and utility applications. Our product portfolio includes circuit breakers, relays, smart control devices, and advanced power distribution systems. As we continue to expand our operations and elevate our manufacturing capabilities, we are looking for a Quality Manager who will champion excellence across our products, processes, and teams.
Position OverviewThe Quality Manager will lead all quality assurance and quality control activities across our manufacturing operations. This role ensures our products meet rigorous industry standards, customer expectations, and internal specifications. The ideal candidate has strong experience in electrical or electro-mechanical manufacturing, understands compliance requirements, and can drive continuous improvement programs.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Leadership & Strategy
: evolve, implement, and maintain the company’s QMS in alignment with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards; schedule and lead quarterly Management Review Meetings; serve as principle ISO coordinator for all ISO internal and external audits; lead quality planning for new product development, including circuit breakers, relays, smart devices, and power distribution equipment; collaborate with Engineering, Production, Warehouse, and Purchasing to enforce quality requirements and drive cross‑functional improvement. - Quality Control & Assurance
: oversee incoming, in‑process, and final inspection activities; ensure compliance with UL, IEC, ANSI/IEEE, and other applicable regulatory and safety standards; manage documentation, test reports, traceability records, and audit findings; investigate non‑conformances, implement CAPA, and verify effectiveness; interface with headquarters on product change and quality issues (PPAPs, PCNs, etc.). - Continuous Improvement
: lead root‑cause analyses using tools such as 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys, and FMEA; introduce quality initiatives to reduce defects, improve yield, and increase customer satisfaction; monitor KPIs and generate regular quality performance reports; conduct supplier audits and collaborate with vendors to ensure material and component reliability; provide training on quality standards, procedures, and best practicesli>
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in quality management within electrical or electro‑mechanical manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of standards relevant to electrical protection and power distribution products.
- Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 compliance.
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, APQP, etc.).
- Excellent problem‑solving, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
