Position: Practice Manager I - Mount Prospect

What You Will Do
  • Oversee the daily operations of medical practices, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise practice staff, including medical assistants, administrative personnel, and support staff.
  • Manage the practice's financial aspects, including budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management, to achieve financial goals.
  • Coordinate patient appointment scheduling, optimizing patient flow and ensuring timely care.
  • Handle patient inquiries and concerns, addressing issues and maintaining high patient satisfaction.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance and compliance measures to adhere to healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance practice performance, patient access, and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure effective use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology for efficient patient care and record‑keeping.
  • Manage inventory levels and supplies within the practice, ensuring they are adequately stocked and maintained.
  • Prepare and present reports on practice performance, including financial, operational, and patient care metrics.
What You Will Need
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Master’s degree in business or a healthcare related discipline preferred.
  • Certification: n/a
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of three years of healthcare management experience.
    • Experience managing a physician‑led office (physician management).
    • Financial management, operations management, and electronic medical record experience preferred.
  • Unique or Preferred

    Skills:

    Demonstrated ability to build alliances, drive results, and manage change.
