Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative (PSR) for our Mount Prospect location. This role is responsible for creating a positive patient experience by greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, and managing the checkout process. The PSR will also provide administrative and office support as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Greet patients
  • Check in patients and assist with individual concerns, as they arise
  • Collect appropriate information including insurance overview, co-pay and deductible assignment and open balances
  • Performs administrative tasks and must be cross trained on medical assistant responsibilities to provide support as needed
  • Other tasks, as assigned
Requirements / Qualifications / Critical Skills
  • 2 years in a healthcare position preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment
  • Patient-focused with the ability to work independently
  • Capability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Schedule

Monday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Tuesday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Wednesday 8:30am - 4:00pm

Thursday 8:00am - 3:30pm

Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Travel
  • Local travel is required to locations within your assigned geographic region. This role will be assigned to cover a geographic region however you may be required to occasionally travel outside of your assigned regional area to support other regional coverage needs of the organization. Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel as assigned.
