Job Summary: The Deamer Group is proud to partner with Thrive Therapeutic Services who is seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist with a graduate degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling to join the Thrive team.

About the position:
This in-person position is Tuesday-Saturday in Mount Prospect, IL. We offer hybrid services to our clients, via telehealth and in person.
Responsibilities:
- Represent Thrive Therapeutic Services in a manner becoming of the profession.
- Conduct oneself according to the NASW's .
- Ensure HIPAA compliance standards for all intake, counseling, and insurance-related situations.
- Evaluate each client's situation and conduct an overall assessment with a recommended plan for action and intervention based on the needs of the patient.
- Focus on individual, family, group, and/or marital counseling.
- Document clinical interactions into practice software promptly.
- Maintain required Continuing Education Units and report them to the office manager.
- Maintain licensure with the State of Illinois.
- Maintain a collegial working relationship with other professionals both in and outside the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling from an accredited school is required.
- Active licensure in Illinois.
- A high level of interpersonal skills to affect positive outcomes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to build rapport with a variety of clients.
- A team player who can collaborate with others in the practice, but who can also work independently.
- Organizational skills necessary to prioritize and manage an appropriate caseload of clients coupled with performing both case management and Mental Health Therapist functions.
- Basic software and computer proficiency.
- Analytical skills necessary to independently collect, analyze, and interpret data.
- Ability to resolve problems with innovative solutions in sensitive situations.
- Must demonstrate empathy, compassion, and adhere to professional standards/ethics at all times.
- Must maintain a professional manner and attitude.
- Must maintain professional attire.
