Digital Video Intern; Summer

Internship Description

The Village of Mount Prospect Television Services is recruiting for the position of Digital Video Intern for its Communications Division. This position will run for approximately 10‑12 continuous weeks and require a minimum of 25 hours per week. It pays $16 hourly wage.

• Knowledge in studio and or remote shooting and non‑linear editing is required.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• The Intern must be able to work independently and with all levels of business and public contacts.
• The Intern candidate must be a full‑time student registered in a broadcast arts program at an accredited college or university.

• Creation of short subject video programming for You Tube & social media.
• Limited general office duties.
• Program archiving.
• Camerawork for live programming.
• Collaboration with the Director of Digital Communications & the Video Media Specialist to complete assignments.
