• Perform routine inspections, installations, and minor repairs on assigned equipment.
• Execute general building maintenance including light carpentry, painting, light plumbing, changing light bulbs, and minor electrical device repairs.
• Participate in departmental on‑call program as designated.
• Maintain accurate work order records and comply with code and regulatory requirements.
• Process work requests and turn in completed work orders in a timely manner.
• Utilize the electronic system to order necessary parts and devices following department procedures.
• Maintain all tools and equipment in a clean, safe, and working order.
• Retain adequate inventory of related parts for assigned duties.
• Preserve technical skills and required certifications to perform job duties.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment required by the job.
• Respond to emergencies to ensure employee and facility safety.
• Champion overall safety and report possible safety issues.
• Comply with OSHA and other local, state, and federal regulations.
• Sustain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co‑workers.
• Respond professionally to customer needs.
• Cooperate and collaborate with leadership to champion and meet strategic goals.
• Adhere to organization and facilities department policies and procedures.
• Serve on departmental and/or organizational committees as requested.
• Interact effectively and build relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in facility maintenance.
• 3+ years experience in HVAC and electrical.
• Safe driving record.
• Own set of tools to perform the job.
• Working knowledge of computerized Preventative Maintenance (PM) and work order systems.
• Ability to learn various software programs associated with the organization and facilities department.
• Strong technical, mechanical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to interact and communicate with all staff and management.
• Can read and follow instructions.
• Resolve issues and concerns in a professional manner.
• Work in a stressful, fast‑paced environmentli>

• Must be able to tolerate extreme heat and extreme cold.
• Physically be able to reach, lift, climb ladders, crawl, or work in tight and dimly lit places, and at heights.
• Varied work environments include maintenance shop, building, outside, dry warehouse, coolers, freezer, noise, water, etc., and outdoor/exterior.
• Incumbent will be subjected to various temperatures, weather conditions, oil, grease, noise, etc.
