Job Overview

A high-performance fabrication company is seeking motivated and detail-oriented HVLP Industrial Painters to join its growing production team. This organization builds custom interactive vehicles, trailers, kiosks, displays, and brand-activation elements for major marketing agencies and global brands. Painters are essential to producing the high-quality finishes that elevate these custom builds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces through sanding, grinding, filling, cleaning, and masking to achieve optimal adhesion and finish quality.
  • Apply primers, base coats, and topcoats using HVLP spray systems, ensuring proper pattern, angle, and distance for uniform coverage.
  • Perform color matching, mixing, tinting, and produce samples that meet client and project specifications.
  • Inspect painted components, identify imperfections, and correct defects (runs, orange peel, fisheyes, etc.).
  • Maintain spray guns, paint booth filters, regulators, lines, and all paint-related equipment.
  • Organize and maintain paint materials, chemicals, and inventory records.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and ventilation procedures.
  • Assist with general fabrication tasks when needed, supporting a collaborative production environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1–2 years of industrial, automotive, or manufacturing painting experience preferred.
  • Experience working with HVLP spray guns, paint mixing, equipment repairs, and booth operations.
  • Ability to follow written instructions, technical sheets, and verbal direction.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent work quality and communication skills.
  • Ability to use general hand tools, maintain a clean workspace, and manage workflow efficiently.

Additional Notes
  • Full-time schedule:
    Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Overtime required during peak production periods
