Assistant Project Manager - Data Centers, Mission Critical

STV is seeking an Assistant Project Manager – Data Centers, Mission Critical for their Construction Management group in Mount Pleasant, WI.

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager with a strong history of representing owners on capital programs, facility upgrades, renovations and additions. The successful candidate will manage Capital Program Management/Owners Representative assignments, guiding projects through all phases—including budgeting, planning, design, bidding, construction, commissioning, move‑management planning, and close‑out services.

• Assist the Project Manager in leading the project team, goal setting, and developing policies and procedures to guide the project/program and mentor team members.
• Carry out duties as assigned by the Project Manager to achieve successful project/program completion.
• Monitor design and construction activities to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
• Monitor and develop project budgets, cash‑flow analyses, cost estimates, and review purchase orders, change orders, and invoices.
• Forecast, identify, and address potential liabilities and risks.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules, ensuring that objectives are met.
• Maintain client, consultant, contractor, and vendor relationships and manage conflict resolution.
• Communicate complex ideas and persuade stakeholders, including executive leadership, to facilitate project success.
• Assist in the evaluation, development, and selection of standards, protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Provide guidance and instruction to less experienced team members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Demonstrated experience with project management techniques, concepts, principles, and standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all organizational levels.
• Ability to creatively resolve issues as they arise.
• Capability to supervise people, including recruitment, training, performance management, and development.
• High proficiency with Microsoft applications, including MS Project and SharePoint.
• Experience with project management software and applications.
• Ability to forecast project challenges and define solutions while maintaining safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance.
