TRAX Operator-Titus

Overview

The Ark-Tex Council of Governments (ATCOG) is now accepting applications for an as-needed TRAX Operator in Titus County. This position is as needed, filling in when drivers are absent. The position is responsible for providing transportation services to individuals, including persons with disabilities, in a safe and timely manner; and operating and maintaining the TRAX vehicles.

• EDUCATION/TRAINING:
  Requires high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Knowledge of vehicle operations. Must pass a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) approved drug test and criminal records check.
• Skill/Ability:
  Skills required are demonstrated proficiency in vehicle operation. Must possess verbal, people skills; the ability to think through situations and deal with problems constructively; and the ability to deal with stress. Must be self-motivated with a clean driving record. Must possess ability to see, hear, reach, stoop, bend, and lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Must be able to perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
