An Assistant Store Manager (ASM) will support customers with financial services, manage store operations, and provide leadership to staff.

Compensation

The hourly wage is $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Maximize customer success by offering financial services.
  • Assess risk of transactions and process loan/pawn applications.
  • Campaign calls to market services and build new business.
  • Oversee account management and recovery processes.
  • Maintain accurate customer data in POS system.
  • Provide coaching to Customer Service Representatives.
  • Perform on-site appraisals, errands, and marketing activities.
  • Meet performance standards through partnership and referrals.
  • Maintain security protocols and closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Conduct store audits and compile financial reports.
  • Maintain store appearance and cleanliness.
  • Work efficiently in fast-paced environment.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed.
  • Work full time with regular in-person attendance, including weekends.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
  • Minimum 3 months supervisory or key holder experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in phones, POS, Microsoft Office.
  • Must be at least 18 (19 in Alabama).
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle.
  • Background check required.
  • Physical ability to stand 90% of time and lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Management experience in retail, convenience, finance, etc.
  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may be required for some locations.
