Material Handler

Material Handler 1 at Big Tex Trailers – Mount Pleasant, TX

As a Material Handler 2, you will play a crucial role in our Plant operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve the efficient movement, organization, and storage of materials within our facility, utilizing both motorized and non‑motorized equipment.

• Move materials between production and storage areas using motorized vehicles (forklifts) and smaller motorized equipment.
• Inspect materials for defects, quantity, and quality.
• Locate and move stock to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Inspect machinery and perform regular maintenance to ensure safety.
• Package, label, and process shipments, ensuring accuracy and damage prevention.
• Load and unload materials for shipping and receiving, verifying accuracy and identifying defects.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment to prepare materials for shipping, storage, and receiving.

• Physical Fitness:
  Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs or more.

• 2-5 years operating a tractor, forklift, and other motorized equipment.
