Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and outgoing Fitness Membership Sales Specialist
, internally known as a "Recruiter," to join our team. In this hybrid sales role, you won't be recruiting employees; you will be the driving force behind growing our D1 community by identifying, engaging, and enrolling new members. You'll connect with potential clients, communicate the value of our Division 1 athletic-based programs, and guide them through their fitness journey from initial contact to enrollment.
- Prospecting & Outreach:
Actively identify and engage prospective members through daily outbound calls, texts, emails, social media, in‑person community events, school partnerships, and personal networking. - Sales Process Management:
Nurture leads through the entire sales funnel, managing all client notes and contacts within our CRM system. - Consultative Selling:
Conduct facility tours and consultations, prescribing and selling the appropriate D1 service based on the client’s specific needs and goals. - Community Engagement:
Represent D1 Training at local events to promote memberships and build lasting relationships. - Collaboration:
Work closely with coaching and operations teams to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience.

You possess an athlete’s mindset—competitive, coachable, and consistent—and thrive in a high‑energy environment. - A Proven Performer:
You have 1+ years of experience in sales and customer service, ideally within the fitness industry, with a track record of closing deals. - A Master Communicator:
You are confident, outgoing, and energized by talking to people on the phone and in person, with strong communication skills and the ability to influence and guide others. - Goal‑Oriented:
You are driven by results and excited by an aggressive commission structure.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous customer service or sales experience.
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM, and other computer programs.
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
