I’m partnering with a well-established, progressive small animal hospital that is seeking an experienced Medical Lead Veterinarian to take on a pivotal leadership role within their team. This is an opportunity for a clinically confident DVM who enjoys mentoring others, shaping medical standards, and playing an active role in the long-term success of a thriving hospital.
The practice operates out of a modern, well-equipped facility with a loyal and growing client base. The team is made up of dedicated, collaborative veterinarians and experienced support staff who value high standards of medicine and excellent client communication. The hospital is well-supported operationally, allowing the Medical Lead to focus on clinical leadership, coaching associate veterinarians, and driving continuous improvement in patient care.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Practice Manager to build an engaged, high-performing team, lead doctor meetings, support mentorship and externship programs, and help guide the hospital’s medical and operational direction. While this is a leadership position, you’ll remain hands-on clinically, practicing high-quality medicine and serving as a role model for efficiency, professionalism, and client service.
This is an ideal opportunity for a veterinarian who wants to step into leadership (or continue growing as a leader) within a supportive, growth-oriented environment that values collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
