The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The GM sets restaurant goals, develops plans to achieve them, and leads a team of Department Managers. The GM assists Department Managers in setting goals, following up on progress, and providing coaching to improve departmental performance. The GM may also hire and develop Department and Shift Managers.
QualificationsIdeal candidates have previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations with a background in quick‑service restaurants, hospitality, or retail. Must be 18 years or older to manage corporate‑owned restaurants. Experience in hiring, coaching, and developing teams is required.
