We're seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our remarkable team at the Novant Health's Medical Group!

  Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

• Specialties:
  Primary Care, Orthopedics, Women's Health, Cardiology, Infectious Disease, Urology, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, and more

• Providing compassionate support to alleviate anxiety and create comfort throughout the patient’s treatment journey.
• Enhancing clinical efficiency by managing patient flow, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with procedures to support the team and patient care.
• Ensuring coordinated care by accurately documenting information and coordinating appointments, serving as a vital link between the patient and the healthcare team.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED required. Must be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program; program must include pharmacology and medication administration. Certification/registry must be obtained by the last day of the sixth month of hire, and an education agreement signed.
• Certification/registry (accepted): CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), RMA (AMT), AMER Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA), NCCT, NAHP, or ARMA. See eligibility details for alternative work experience if not certified at hire.
• Experience:
  
  Previous work in a medical office preferred. Experience must include both clinical (including medication administration) and administrative duties.
• L icensure/Certification:
  Current certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA, or CCMA, required. Current State Driver7s License (Palliative Care Only), required.

  Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
