Qualifications- Minimum of 1 year MRI experience
- ARRT MRI certification required
- BLS certification mandatory
- Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI experience preferred but not required
Situated near Charleston, SC, this position is based at a progressive medical center renowned for its comprehensive care and advanced imaging capabilities. The imaging unit is equipped with GE 1.5T Signa and GE 3T Pioneer MRI machines, offering diverse procedure opportunities including MRI/MRA Brain, Abdomen, MRCP, and specialized cardiac and breast imaging. The facility supports a collaborative environment with trained unit secretaries and tech staff available to assist.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of MRI procedures with precision and patient care priority
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedure protocols
- Collaborate with medical staff for accurate imaging and diagnosis
- Participate in rotational weekend and holiday scheduling as per facility policy
- Maintain compliance with BLS guidelines and safety standards
- Uniform policy requires gray scrubs
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation
- On-call coverage Friday to Sunday, 8 PM to 7 AM every 4-5 weekends
