Carolina Holistic Medicine, a functional medicine practice located in Mt. Pleasant, SC, seeks a certified medical assistant to join our in‑office clinical team. We embody the concept of the whole person, balancing the physical with the mental and spiritual aspects of care.

Base pay: $24.00/hr - $28.00/hr office hours Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; closed Fridays.

• Take patient vital signs at check‑in
• Create or update the patient prescribed medicine/supplement list
• Email or phone patients as needed for follow‑ups, lab test instructions, lab results, and monitoring
• Document patient emails, phone calls, and other interactions in the EHR
• Ensure laboratory kits are up to date
• Assist with answering phones, emails, and general patient inquiries
• Complete and scan laboratory requisitions to the charts
• Complete tasks as assigned in Practice Fusion
• Draw blood and administer injections when required
• Place prescription refills in the EHR
• Send referrals to patients

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited medical assisting program with at least one year of patient experience
• Certification via AMT, AAMA, NHA, MedCA, CCMA, or NCCT; current BLS certification required
• Interest in functional and holistic medicine is essential
