Novant Health East Cooper Medical Center is seeking a Fulltime MRI Tech! The MR Technologist will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

• Education:
  
  2-year associate degree preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved radiography program or MR program required.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of one avutish;
  * year of experience in MR, preferedi.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • NH Medical Center‑Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required.
  • NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility – Certified and Registered within 6 months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required.
  • Hospital Outpatient Department – Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required.
  • Refer to Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.
  • Applicable state license, required.
• Additional Skills (required):
  Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, analytical ability and basic computer skills, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to age‑specific needs, and good communication skills.
