Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant ? Locum Opportunity - OR only
Location: Mt. Pleasant, SC
Royal Surgical Associates is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join a respected cardiothoracic surgery team at a hospital neat Mt. Pleasant, SC. They are seeking OR coverage only.
This contract is ideal for advanced practice providers who thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable with high-volume caseloads, including first-assisting and endoscopic vein harvesting.

Contract Details:
- December 2025 Coverage only - 1 month
- Full-time schedule Mon-Fri
- Shared call 1:3
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive pay up to $150/hour, commensurate with experience
- 1099 contract structure for increased take-home pay

Key Responsibilities:
- First-assist in high-volume cardiothoracic surgeries
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, intensivists, and hospital staff
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery
- Strong first-assist skills and proficiency with EVH
- NCCPA certification with active South Carolina licensure
