Locum Tenens CRNA – General Anesthesia

Location:

Mount Pleasant, Michigan (Zip: 48858)

Employment Type:

Travel/Contract

Assignment Duration:  26 weeks (ongoing and PRN dates available)

Dates:  April 1, 3, 6, Dec 30. Future dates TBD

Shifts per Week:  5

Shift Duration:  8-hour days (7am–3pm)

Hours per Week:  36

Call Requirement:  None

Case Types:  ENT for Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy. No OB, must have Block skills.

Practice Model:  All CRNA team

EMR System:  HST

PRN Dates:  Multiple flexible PRN dates available

CRNA Qualifications

Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification

Minimum 2 years of clinical anesthesia experience

Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required

Proficiency in spinals, regional anesthesia blocks, and epidurals

Clear background and malpractice history (credentialing: 30–90 days; temporary privileges available)

CRNA Responsibilities

Administer general anesthesia for a variety of surgical cases, including ENT for pediatrics, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and endoscopy

Perform spinals, nerve blocks, and epidurals as needed

Work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment (average case: 75 minutes; eye procedures: 20 minutes)

Collaborate with the surgical and healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes

Document procedures and patient care accurately using the HST EMR system
