• Setting: Surgical Center
• Start Date: 2/2/2026
• Schedule:
• Monday Friday, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM 3:30 PM)
• No call, no weekends
• Coverage: Scheduled only
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (1099)
• Pay Range: $220-230/hr (call to discuss structure)

Case Mix

• Heavy Ortho (including total shoulders starting February)
• Eyes (mostly topical with light sedation; minimal blocks)
• Mixed Endoscopy cases with MAC
• ENT for pediatrics (PALS required; conservative case selection)
• Blocks required for Ortho and some eye cases

Department Details

• Support staff:
  Typically 2 providers/day; occasionally 3 midweek
• EMR: HST
• Average case time: 75 min (general), 20 min (eyes)
• Early start:
  Rooms open at 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM
• Rarely late days; most cases finish before 4:00 PM

Requirements

• NBCRNA
• Active Michigan license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Proficient in blocks
• Comfortable with pediatric ENT and orthopedic cases
