Required Skills:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- Active Michigan Medical License or eligible
- Proficiency in managing a high-volume emergency department
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to supervise midlevel providers
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with Cerner EHR system
Skills:
- Experience in Level 4 trauma centers or similar settings
- Prior locum or travel physician experience
- Advanced airway management skills
- Experience with hospitalist protocols and ED transfers
Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2 years emergency medicine experience
- Recent ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
- Must complete credentialing within approximately 90 days
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including potential holiday coverage
- Ability to respond to hospital codes and participate in emergency response
- Will be responsible for supervising ED staff and midlevels
- Travel and licensing reimbursement opportunities available—expenses covered per company policies
Hourly Pay Rate: $312.00
