We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Michigan, starting Jan 31, 2026, for a 2-day contract. This opportunity involves both day and night 12-hour shifts, providing critical care in a dynamic emergency department environment. The assignment requires board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine with at least 2 years of emergency room experience.

- Provide emergency medical care to patients across all acuity levels
- Supervise midlevel provider on duty
- Attend and respond to house codes, with hospitalist and anesthesia backup as available
- Participate in code situations to provide airway support
- Write limited bridging orders and place bed orders when necessary; hospitalist to handle most admission orders
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine required
- Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience required
- Michigan medical license required at time of clearance (IMLC not accepted)
- DEA (verbal confirmation at name clear) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required (for non-EM boarded physicians)
- Clean background required for quick credentialing
- Providers must be local
- Strong compensation
