Locum Jobs Online  is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Emergency Medicine MD in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, 48858!

We are seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine Doctor for a 90-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan starting Mar 20, 2026. This opportunity offers 12-hour shifts (8a-8p or 8p-8a) covering a full seven-day schedule. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of ER experience and be prepared to manage a variety of emergency procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Suture wounds
• Splint fractures
• Perform lumbar punctures
• Establish central and peripheral IV access
• Administer cardioversion or defibrillation
• Conduct other emergency medicine procedures as needed

Additional Information

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Practice (with ER experience) required
• Active Michigan medical license required; IMLC not accepted
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required for non-Emergency Medicine boarded doctors
• DEA license and verbal confirmation required at name clear
• Clean background required for quick credentialing
• Copy of current NPDB self-query required within 30 days at presentation
• Provider must be local to Michigan
