5:30 AM – 5:30 PM (2‑2‑3)

QPS Employment Group has a great Warehouse position available at a company in Mount Pleasant, IA. This is a day shift position with the opportunity for hire.

• Read and follow work order instructions to complete assigned tasks.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
• Locate inventory using computer systems.
• Follow work orders to ensure correct quantity, quality, and packaging per customer specifications.
• Load packaged goods onto freight trucks.
• Operate material handling equipment—including forklifts and pallet jacks—after proper training and certification by the company.
• Receive frequent supervision and guidance regarding specific customer product requests.
• Conduct routine quality checks of finished products according to instructions.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Heavy and frequent grasping, pushing, and pulling required.
• Ability to work in environments with hot/cold temperatures and noise exposure.
• Ability to stand for a 12‑hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Must pass a basic math test and ruler measurement test.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in shipping and receiving, including forklift use, preferred.
• Must be trained by client prior to operating a forklift.
