• Afternoons: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Nights: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

• Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
• Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care
• Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding
• Assist residents with range‑of‑motion exercises
• Provide personal care and comfort
• Move residents to wheelchair or activity areas
• Assist residents with ambulation for short distances in facility
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output as directed
• Provide direct and indirect resident care services
• Meet communication needs of resident and family
• Communicate to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition
• Perform other tasks as assigned

• High school diploma or general equivalency preferred
• Must pass a state‑issued exam
• Valid certification as a CNA in the state of Iowa required
• Six months experience in a long‑term care environment preferred
• Maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, their family members, and facility staff
