Overview

Job Title: Caregiver/Med Techs - 1st Shift - Full-time

Location: Addington Place of Mount Pleasant, Iowa

• Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
• Administer medications as prescribed and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
• Monitor and document residents' health and report any changes to the supervising nurse or healthcare practitioner.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
• Engage with residents in a friendly and supportive manner to promote emotional and social well-being.
• Assist with daily activities and escort residents to and from meals and activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and medication administration is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
