Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2126) rting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $16.00 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• Engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs.
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Thank guests and let them know you’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.
• Understand and show guests how to use features and offerings within the Target App including Wallet.
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and direct guests to enroll, activate and use these features.
• Handle returns per policy, following register prompts and consulting with leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders, DU Returns and maintain compliance with laws where applicable.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and store transactions; flexible to assist with cash office operations as needed.
• Physical ability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds with or without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule, reliable attendance, and ability to stay mobile during shifts.
