The Landscaping Technician supports daily landscape maintenance and construction operations by completing assigned tasks efficiently, safely, and according to company quality standards.
What You'll Do- Perform lawn and landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, weeding, mulching, and plant care
- Operate landscaping equipment safely and according to manufacturer guidelines
- Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, hoes, and wheelbarrows properly and safely
- Follow project plans, material lists, and crew instructions
- Ensure all lawns, plants, and installations meet company standards
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
- Assist with equipment care and routine maintenance
- Work safely and report hazards to the Crew Leader
- Support continuous improvement in safety and environmental practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 1+ year of landscaping experience preferred (but not required)
- Valid state-issued driver's license (required)
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow directions
- Commitment to working safely at all times
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Physically demanding role involving lifting, bending, walking, and standing
- Exposure to pollen, dust, insects, and landscaping materials
- Seasonal extended hours during peak periods
- Use of power tools, machinery, and sharp equipment
