Overview
Schneider Electric is seeking an In Process Quality Technician for incoming inspection on 3rd shift (10 PM to 6:30 AM) to join our team in Mt Juliet, TN. If you have a strong background in testing low and medium voltage products, coupled with the ability to collaborate closely with Engineering, we want to hear from you.
What will your responsibilities be?- Perform detailed inspections of incoming components and materials to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Identify, document, and escalate non-conformances; collaborate with internal teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to company quality procedures, safety guidelines, and industry standards during all inspection activities.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to maintain smooth workflow and uphold quality expectations.
- Accurately record inspection results in SAP and maintain proper documentation for traceability and audits.
- Wear prescribed Personal Protective Equipment and maintain it in good condition. Immediately report hazards, incidents, and accidents to supervisors. Adhere to HS&E legislation, regulations, and company policies.
- High school diploma or GED. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Skilled in validating and correcting technical documents, including test procedures. Able to manage technical tasks independently with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret schematics.
- Effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills (written and oral), strong organizational abilities, and computer proficiency.
- PPE is required; safety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the production floor.
- Work is performed in a Manufacturing Environment with prolonged standing; ability to reach overhead, pull, push, bend, squat, and climb a ladder.
- Ability to lift 26 pounds occasionally or 22 pounds independently and repetitively.
