Overview
Schneider Electric is seeking a Quality Test Technician on 3rd shift (10 PM to 6:30 AM) to join our team in Mt Juliet, TN. If you have a strong background in testing low and medium voltage products, coupled with the ability to collaborate closely with Engineering, we want to hear from you.
What will you do- Execute comprehensive quality control operations at various manufacturing stages following established protocols and quality management instructions
- Perform detailed product inspections and measurements to ensure compliance with corporate and customer standards
- Analyze quality data and identify potential production issues before they impact final products
- Implement contingency plans and suggest process improvements based on quality findings
- Document and report inspection results while maintaining accurate quality control records
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in testing, troubleshooting & failure analysis of electrical equipment
- Proficient in using High Pot test Set, Current Injector, Megger insulation resistance meter, Multi Meter, Relay Test Set, and Corona test Set
- Validate and correct existing technical documents, including test procedures
- Capable of managing technical tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret schematics
- Computer proficient with excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) for effective collaboration
- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required; safety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the production floor
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with prolonged standing required for the duration of shift
- Requires ability to reach overhead, pull, push, bend, squat, and climb a ladder to perform work
- Ability to lift 26 pounds occasionally or 22 pounds independently and repetitively
