Overview

Schneider Electric is seeking a Quality Test Technician on 3rd shift (10 PM to 6:30 AM) to join our team in Mt Juliet, TN
. If you have a strong background in testing low and medium voltage products, coupled with the ability to collaborate closely with Engineering, we want to hear from you.

What will you do:
  • Execute comprehensive quality control operations at various manufacturing stages following established protocols and quality management instructions
  • Perform detailed product inspections and measurements to ensure compliance with corporate and customer standards
  • Analyze quality data and identify potential production issues before they impact final products
  • Implement contingency plans and suggest process improvements based on quality findings
  • Document and report inspection results while maintaining accurate quality control records
What will make you successful:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in testing, troubleshooting & failure analysis of electrical equipment
  • Proficient in using High Pot test Set, Current Injector, Megger insulation resistance meter, Multi Meter, Relay Test Set, and Corona test Set
  • Validate and correct existing technical documents, including test procedures
  • Capable of managing technical tasks with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret schematics
  • Computer proficient with excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) for effective collaboration
  • High school diploma or GED required. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Basic Requirements
  • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required; safety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the production floor
  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment, where prolonged periods of standing are required for the duration of shift
  • Requires ability to reach overhead, pull, push, bend, squat, and climb a ladder to perform work
  • Ability to lift 26 pounds occasionally or 22 pounds independently and repetitively
