CNC Programmer

We are seeking an experienced OEM Fabrication Programmer to support multiple fabrication sites by developing, optimizing, and standardizing programming processes for sheet metal fabrication equipment. This role will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve efficiency, optimize nesting, and reduce material waste across multiple production facilities.

This is a hybrid position with occasional travel across North America to support fabrication sites.

• Program and optimize sheet metal fabrication equipment including turret punches, laser cutting machines, press brakes, and folding machines
  .
• Develop and implement cross-training programs for programming teams.
• Support remote programming capabilities across fabrication locations.
• Optimize nesting utilization and scrap reduction to improve material efficiency.
• Maintain and update fabrication programming software and modules.
• Evaluate and benchmark programming systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering teams to support new product development and design improvements.

• Bachelor’s Degree required (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication programming.
• Hands-on experience programming turrets, lasers, press brakes, folding machines, and bar machines
  .
• Experience working with sheet metal fabrication processes including punching, cutting, and bending of copper, aluminum, and other metals
  .
• Strong knowledge of fabrication equipment, tooling, and programming software.

• Engineering Software: AutoCAD, Creo, Inventor, ProE, 3D modeling tools
• General Tools: Microsoft Office Suite

• Occasional travel across North America (Texas, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Mexico).
• Travel may occur quarterly or occasionally once per month depending on project needs.
