Are you an experienced sheet metal fabrication programmer ready to lead standardization and drive optimization across multiple manufacturing sites? This is a high-visibility opportunity to support and enhance OEM programming operations while collaborating closely with Design Engineering and fabrication teams.
What You’ll Do:- Lead programming standardization initiatives across multiple fabrication sites.
- Support and develop cross-training programs to strengthen programming capabilities.
- Optimize nesting, reduce scrap, and improve material utilization (offal/net/gross).
- Maintain and enhance OEM programming systems, including AP100, Optimation, Dr. Abe, Radan, and others.
- Facilitate remote programming capabilities across sites.
- Benchmark and evaluate programming systems for continuous improvement.
- Partner with Design Engineering to support new product development and process improvements.
- 5+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication programming (turrets, lasers, benders, folding machines, bar machines).
- Strong background in punching, cutting, and bending copper, aluminum, and sheet metals.
- Engineering degree preferred (Mechanical or Industrial).
- Extensive knowledge of fabrication equipment, tooling, and programming software.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and 3D modeling tools (Creo, Inventor, ProE, etc.).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
