This role is critical to driving part quality, packaging improvements, and supplier assurance for service parts.
A Day in the Life- Lead internal and external supplier quality assurance activities, including issue resolution, corrective action approval, and site visits.
- Prepare, analyze, and present quality data to drive improvements in part quality, service part packaging, and logistics processes.
- Coordinate activities between Nissan manufacturing, Parts Planning and Establishment, Parts Supply, Service Parts Packaging, and our PDC Network to ensure prompt and effective response to quality issues and technical queries.
- Review and interpret engineering data (Engineering Standards, D-Notes, Data Notes, and 3D CAD) to understand design intent and assess part quality.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- 8+ years in quality engineering or related roles, with demonstrated success in supplier quality assurance and process improvement, strong knowledge of quality tools, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering and CAD data.
- Engineering degree.
- Experience in automotive service parts or manufacturing environments.
