Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer / Manual and CNC Machinist 1st and 2nd Shift Available $2,500 New Hire Bonus 2nd Shift +15% Differential Weekly Pay Greiner Industries is seeking skilled Manual/CNC Machinist to produce and repair precision parts using manual or CNC machine tools. You'll work independently or collaboratively, using your experience to complete jobs from start to finish while maintaining high standards for safety, accuracy, and quality.

Schedule:

First Shift (Mon-Fri, 6:45 am - 3:15 pm) or Second Shift (Mon-Thu, 3:00 pm - 1:30 am)

Key Responsibilities Programming CNC machines to meet print and customer requirements Performing first-piece setups to validate tooling, offsets, and process accuracy Driving process improvements to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and maintain quality standards Preparing and maintaining setup sheets, job documentation, and machining standards for operator guidance Operate manual machining equipment including Bridgeport mills, lathes, band saws, and presses Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics Set up machines and complete jobs with minimal supervision Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools Troubleshoot production issues and apply problem-solving skills in real time Keep documentation of part dimensions and any deviations Work safely in a production environment and follow established procedures

Minimum Education High School Minimum Years of Experience 2-4 Specific Qualifications A high school graduate or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred Experienced in manual machining (2+ years required) Able to run start-to-finish jobs independently Familiar with first-run and prototype work, and understands extra steps required for precision parts Strong with blueprint reading, measurement tools, and general safety standards Willing to work overtime or weekends as needed Comfortable working with large parts, overhead cranes, noisy environments, and standing for long periods
