RN Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Registered Nurse experience (Telemetry or Med Surg units preferred)

• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment completed

• Active Michigan RN license (LARA and Nursys verification required)

• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred

• Paragon EMR experience highly preferred

• Skills checklist for RN specialties completed within one year

• Ability to float to Telemetry (CSU, 3 South, 4 South) and Med Surg (3 West, 4 West, IPR) units

• Strong attendance record (strict 3-strike attendance policy)
Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process

• Assess physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients

• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans

• Perform clinical interventions based on patient needs

• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals

• Float between assigned Telemetry and Med Surg units as needed

• Maintain professional standards and comply with hospital policies

• Ensure patient satisfaction and participate in ongoing professional development
