Financial Analyst - Otsego Area

Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

• Conduct detailed cost analysis of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and labor.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts for production operations.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
• Analyze capital expenditure requests, performing ROI and payback period calculations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency and cost control.
• Support month-end close activities by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements within manufacturing.

• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation techniques.
• Demonstrated experience with cost accounting principles and analysis in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to perform variance analysis, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Ability to analyze and interpret operational and financial data to drive business decisions.

• Deep understanding of cost accounting principles and variance analysis.
• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for operational data visualization.
• Exposure to Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
