Systems Engineer, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering
A day in this role
At our Mt. Clemens, MI site, your morning might begin by reviewing IP.21 historian trends from the night shift, then stepping into the control room to troubleshoot an ABB Symphony+/Bailey Infi
90 loop or a Rockwell PLC routine. Late morning, you’ll huddle with line leadership, operators, and mechanics to translate production needs into control strategies, followed by scoping a capital project’s I/O and control narratives. In the afternoon, you could be partnering with the Site Interlock Guardian to draft Safety Interlock Specifications for a new Safety Instrumented System, updating process control documentation, or leading a quick training session for engineers.
You’ll close the day by participating in an MOC or prepping for a PHA/PSSR to keep our PSM commitments rock-solid.
