Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Current CPR or acquire within 3 months of hire.
• Tactical Handcuff Training within 6 months of hire if no prior Law Enforcement, Corrections, NCPPS or Military
  background
• NC Private Protective Services Unarmed Guard Training within 3 months of hire.
• NC Private Protective Services Armed Security Officer Training / Certification within 3 months of hire.
• Taser certification within 6 months of hire
• Valid driver's license
• Acceptable driving record as required by hospital's liability insurance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior Law Enforcement or Corrections Experience
• Prior Military Experience
• Hazardous materials awareness
