Vineyard & Winery Assistant

Vineyard duties:
Work in the vineyard including pruning, managing the canopy, harvesting, planting, etc. Equipment maintenance, mowing and general grounds keeping as needed.

Winery:
Assist in wine and cider-making tasks, such as harvest processing, fermentation, barreling, and bottling. Associated efforts include equipment maintenance & cleaning.

Many of these skills will be taught to the applicant as part of training. The most important criteria are reliability, communication, and willingness to work outdoors.

This is primarily an year-round outdoor job, with a requirement to be able to work 8-10 hours in a standing position the majority of the time and to be able to lift 30 pounds. Ability to work independently. Previous landscaping, horticulture or vineyard work preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
