Position
Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
LocationAsheboro, NC (Randolph Health)

ScheduleFull Time Monday - Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
Your Impact- Collaborate in cutting‑edge cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout interventions.

- Graduate from an accredited program in one of the following:
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Registered Radiology Technologist (RTR)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
- Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic (EMT‑P)
- Cardiovascular Tech (CVT)
- Vascular Intervention (VI)
- Relevant experience in critical care, emergency services, or Cath/EP lab preferred.
- Ability to pass Cardiac Dysrhythmias Test and complete department‑specific competencies.
- Deliver the most remarkable patient experience in every dimension, every time.

- Commit to principles of "First Do No Harm" to create a safe patient environment.
- Education:
Graduate from one of the following accredited education programs (listed above) required. - Experience:
- RN: at least 1 year of Critical Care, Emergency Services, Cath/EP Lab, or Special Procedures experience.
- EMT‑P: at least 2 years of acute care hospital experience.
- RTR, RRT, RCIS, RCES, CVT, or VI: at least 1 year of experience (preferred).
- Licensure/Certification:
Registered Nurse (RN) – North Carolina Board of Nursing License;
Registered Radiology Technologist (RTR) – ARRT Radiology;
Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic (EMT‑P) credentialing/accreditation and/or Paramedic associate degree; or Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensed by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board and credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care; or Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist, Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, Cardiovascular Tech, or Vascular Intervention graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program. If the Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CIS) is not a RN, RTR with CI or VI certification, they must obtain their Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) within 24 months of hire for continued employment. - Additional
Skills:- Successfully complete generic and department‑specific skill validation and competency testing.
- Pass yearly Cardiac Dysrhythmias Test.
