Responsibilities

Discover a different side of nursing care at Turning Point!

Turning Point Care Center has an opening for a full-time RN in the Intake/Admissions department. The RN promotes a therapeutic milieu and provides quality patient care. Collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Turning Point. Our Intake/Admissions RNs work with potential patients, referral sources, and medical providers over the phone and with new patients in person.

• Responding expeditiously to patient referrals
• Review of patient records
• Processing patient admissions
• Patient assessments
• Obtaining admission approvals

Shifts available are 10am-10pm and 4pm-4am with a 3/4 schedule. These position qualify for shift differential.

• Experience in substance abuse / mental health treatment, preferred.
• Understanding of commercial and Medicare insurances
• Knowledge of patient level of care requirements
• Licensed by the State of Georgia (good standing) as a Registered Nurse/RN
• BLS/CPR Certified
