Patient Transportation Driver - PRN

Turning Point Care Center invites applicants for a PRN Patient Transportation Driver position. Turning Point drivers transport patients to and from various locations, both local and long distance, using company vehicles. The ideal candidate will be motivated, work well with direct supervision, make decisions quickly, and collaborate effectively in a team environment. Great opportunity for retirees or direct care professionals including CNAs, Medical Assistants, and First Responders!

• Transport patients to and from local and long-distance locations using company vehicles.
• Make quick, safe decisions while following direct supervision and company policies.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

• Work varying schedules:
  Week Days, Week Nights, Weekend Days, Weekend Nights. Please provide your availability at interview.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ten (10) years of driving experience operating passenger car, van or bus.
• One (1) year of experience in a patient field, preferred.
• Experience working with substance abuse or behavioral health patients, preferred.
• Current Georgia Driver's License with:
  • no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • no multiple violations for driving without insurance
  • no more than 2 accidents in the past 3 years
  • no DUI or DWI convictions within the past 7 years
• Must perform physical activities such as prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision.
• Regular and consistent attendance; reliable transportation is required. Company vehicles are used for patient transport.
