PRN Therapist

Therapists at Turning Point provide individual and group counseling to adults with trauma, mental health, and/or substance abuse issues. Therapists must be aware of social factors affecting the psychological well-being of individuals, services/programs for psychological/sociological improvement of individuals, and in conducting evaluative interviews. Group therapy (process and education groups) is held in the morning. Afternoons are primarily individual sessions, family contacts, case management, and treatment planning.
We offer a full continuum of care including Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization, and Intensive Outpatient levels of care. Mental Health units are co‑ed and Substance Abuse/Chemical Dependency units are gender specific.

Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:
- Licensure in the State of Georgia: LMSW, LCSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LAPC, or LPC is preferred
- Certifications including CRC, CADC, and CAC may be considered for PRN positions with experience in Behavioral Health
- Competence in understanding and treating primary mental health diagnosis, substance dependence, and the treatment of dual diagnosis is required
