People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client's well-established transport team based in Motherwell . Shifts:

4 on / 4 off – Night shift Pay Rate: £16.83 – £19.30 per hour Why Work With This Client? Excellent hourly rates Consistent, ongoing full-time work Weekly pay Temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidates Immediate starts available On-site parking and easy motorway access Supportive, professional transport team Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties Safely operate and drive Class 1 (CE) vehicles Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and documentation Load, transport, and deliver goods between designated locations Handle double-decker trailers where required Ensure all loads are secure and compliant with transport safety regulations Communicate effectively with transport teams and customers Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and road safety procedures Essential Skills Valid UK Category CE Licence Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card No more than six penalty points (minor offences only – no IN, DR, DD, or CD codes) Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks Good knowledge of UK road networks and compliance standards
