HGV Class 1 Driver – Days People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver – Days to join our client's well-established transport operation based in Motherwell . • Start times between 03:00 – 08:00
• 5 days out of 7

• Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Operating and driving Class 1 (CE) vehicles safely and efficiently
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and completing all required documentation
• Loading and delivering goods between designated locations
• Handling double-decker trailers where required
• Ensuring all loads are safely and securely restrained
• Communicating effectively with transport teams and customers
• Adhering to road traffic laws, safety standards, and company procedures Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:
• A valid UK Category CE (Class
1) driving licence
• A valid UK CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (excluding IN, DR, DD, or CD endorsements)
• A reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
• A good level of physical fitness, including manual handling capability
• Strong knowledge of road safety and compliance requirements

Desirable Experience
• Previous experience in retail or distribution deliveries Training Provided
• Full onboarding support provided
• Paid two-day site induction
