About the Role
We are a leading the recruitment for an FMCG manufacturer who is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support their high-speed production facility. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring maximum equipment uptime, safety, and continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on FMCG production lines
Diagnose and fault-find electrical, control, and automation issues to minimise downtime
Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, drives, sensors, and control panels
Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and food industry standards
Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records
Key Requirements
Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / HNC / equivalent)
Proven experience in an FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong fault-finding skills on electrical and control systems
PLC experience
Ability to work under pressure and respond to breakdowns effectively
Flexible approach to shift work
